CLIENT: Brunel University
SCOPE: Website design and development
GWCM developed an online resource for the Bridging the Gap programme for potential entrepreneurs and final year students at Brunel University London. The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) programme offers specialist mentoring, workshops and knowledge from the university’s academics and departments.
The ‘Gap,’ the programme aims to bridge is between final year and post grad, where good ideas with strong potential may have been developed. Or, between the knowledge contained and generated within the University and it being accessed, useful and financially positive to the wider business community, primarily SMEs. Also, between male and female owned businesses especially in the Science, Tech, Engineering and Maths STE(A)M sectors.
Finally, the gap between enthusiastic start-up businesses and successful businesses 3 years into their trading life.
Our solution helps Brunel to ‘bridge’ the gap and acts as a simple, relevant and useful reference point for the programme, its funders, supporters, alumni, potential clients and beneficiary businesses. As an experienced education marketing agency, GWCM, developed a simple, credible, visually memorable, well considered and well-designed site, supporting the ethics and approach of both the programme and the funders, while appealing to all potential clients.
