GWCM were proud to partner with Oxford University Press (OUP), a globally respected name in academic publishing, on an impactful educational video production project for their English Language Teaching (ELT) division.
OUP once again approached us to reimagine their existing corporate video with a contemporary creative approach. Briefed as a dynamic ELT promotional video production, it would serve as a versatile brand asset across international markets. With a key focus on Latin America, the aim was to engage audiences who may not be fluent in English through a compelling edu storytelling animation.
We led the project from concept to completion, crafting a sharp, accessible script that distilled OUP’s 500-year legacy, research-first mindset, and global ambition into a concise and engaging message. Visually, we proposed a distinctive mixed-media animation style, combining photography, illustration, and motion graphics to bridge linguistic gaps and deepen emotional resonance.
To increase regional impact, we delivered localised versions for Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. These featured culturally relevant characters, settings, and symbols, while aligning to OUP’s global visual identity through a streamlined, cohesive colour system.
The final output is a confident, globally sensitive educational marketing video. It reflects OUP’s commitment to advancing learning outcomes and speaks directly to a diverse international audience.
