A pioneering interactive tool and suite of videos for victims and witnesses of crime

The first of its kind in the UK, ‘MyVoice’ is an innovative digital, interactive tool that enables victims and witnesses of crime to better understand the UK criminal justice system from initially reporting a crime to the process of going to court. GWCM, developed the web tool in collaboration with a former Police Sergeant and Voice – a Victim Liaison Service and Northamptonshire Police and Crime Commissioner, to curate the information, develop the tone of voice and refine the user journey.

GWCM also created a series of 7 animated videos to communicate the process in a simple, easy-to-understand and reassuring manner. An interactive courtroom was also created to demonstrate a typical environment for the victims or witnesses of how going to court may look and feel, to help eliminate any perceived fear or uncertainty.
