Lifting restrictions does not mean that the risks from Covid-19 have disappeared. Instead, it marks a new phase in the Government's response to the pandemic during which people need to manage the risks to themselves.
Northamptonshire’s Covid-19 plan was designed to clarify how the local Council, worked with the NHS Test and Trace service and Public Health England during the pandemic. The Council approached GWCM, an experienced healthcare communications agency, to help due to our vast healthcare marketing experience.
We developed a broad outbreak marketing campaign of adverts, video animations, outdoor media, leaflets, digital signage, and social media graphics outlining advisory guidance on how people could manage the risks for Northamptonshire residents and the simple actions we can all take to help lower the risk of infection.
Our Covid-19 pandemic marketing used a simple, illustrative style that helped to capture attention and make it easy to comprehend, even if English was not the first language of the reader. Our work supported the UK Government advice throughout all phases, and more recently builds on the return to Plan A guidance, as the country learns to live with the virus.
