Since 2018, KDR Events have relied on good website design for their pubs and venues, such as Picturedrome, The Old White Hart, and more recently The White Horse. GWCM redesigned all three WordPress websites for the company.
With many hospitality businesses struggling since the pandemic, KDR needed to improve visibility, attract more customers, increase venue hire bookings, and grow food and drink sales while reducing reliance on paid advertising.
The venues also needed stronger digital marketing, clearer cross-promotion between locations, and a better online experience for both regular and new customers.
We developed bespoke, fully responsive WordPress websites that were seamlessly designed, coded, and content-rich to improve local search visibility. We helped KDR understand that a well-optimised website could also reduce paid advertising spend.
Our organic search strategy improved website presence in non-paid search engine results, helping convince punters to choose KDR venues over competitors for less.
GWCM’s creatives developed custom WordPress themes, a focused SEO strategy, and a series of landing pages to boost venue hire and increase food and drink sales. We embedded Google Maps for each venue with directions to make them easier to find for new customers.
We also developed personalised promotions to grow revenue and encourage more email subscribers. New menus were designed, social media campaigns were created to better engage regular customers, and venue posters were branded to cross-promote events and experiences across locations, including salsa nights and other themed events.
For Picturedrome, we also developed a brand-new ticketing system for online event bookings to reduce fees charged by major ticketing agents.
The redesigned websites strengthened KDR’s online presence and improved visibility in organic search results, helping attract more customers while reducing reliance on paid advertising.
The combined SEO, landing page, and promotional strategy supported increased venue hire enquiries, food and drink sales, and stronger customer engagement across all venues.
