Developing the brand, digital strategy and website to launch the £40m Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Investment Fund

Client:

Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Investment Fund

Sector:

Finance

Scope:

Branding I Advertising I Website I Video I Promotion

A collaboration with the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership, the £40m fund brings together ERDF, LEP and HMG grant funding and seeks to address an equity gap in start-up, early stage and development capital for regional businesses.

Traditional sectors within the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly region are tourism and the Agri - Food Industry. But developing markets are Advanced Engineering and Digital Innovation, Agri-tech, aerospace, marine-tech, renewable energy and low carbon economic growth being at the heart of the ambitions for Cornwall.

We used this insight to assist with the development of the branding, the wider visual imagery for the website. Our design for the site needed to balance, not only aesthetics, usability and interactivity, but also consider the value that the site would provide back to the Government in terms of leads and the provision of loans, equity investments and local business jobs creation. To deliver this, our visual landscape for the website uses modern vector graphic illustrations totally reflective of the region over land, sea, air and space. It is also an intuitive and responsive website which helps to promote compelling reasons, advice and support as to why businesses should seek investment as the UK prepares to leave the European Union in 2019.
