It all started…

Our company was founded in 1997 by Creative Director Gavin Willis, in his back bedroom with only a Macintosh II and a set of magic markers.

He was driven by a mission to create ideas and experiences that bring brands to life.

Over the years, we’ve grown in size, gained global clients and expanded our services, but our reasons for doing this are still the same.

We love to breathe new life into the relationship between the brand and consumers. It’s that simple.

  • Work with us
  • Reason #1

Web development is my #1 passion in life, it is very rewarding. I love being able to create websites from the ground up whether that’s for our clients or just to learn more new code.

  • Reason #2

Debugging code is always a fun job to do because I get to utilise my problem solving skills to think of new or alternative ways to crush a bug.

  • Reason #3

Although I like back-end development languages such as PHP, SQL etc. specialising in front-end gives me a closer link to the creative side. I thrive on making websites look stunning.

  • Reason #4

To make a website truly look and work great – every pixel counts, so cross browser compatibility matters (even in Internet Explorer!). As I am a perfectionist, I like to make sure that the websites I build work seamlessly across every platform and device.

  • Reason #5

Working in an agency means I get to be part of a team with other like minded individuals, meaning my recommendations are taken on board and implemented from the very initial concepts. At GWCM it’s more than just building websites – I feel I am consistently building myself into someone better and using my skills to help our agency and clients grow too.
