Lifting restrictions regarding the recent pandemic do not mean the risks have disappeared. When the Government issued new guidance on the pandemic, our skills were called upon. We helped explain the public roadmap for COVID-19.

Cheshire East Council had clear advice in respect of the outbreak and their specific region. This included urging those living and working in Cheshire East to get fully vaccinated and follow advice. To help with this challenge the Council approached GWCM due to our digital experience within Government offices. We are also a Crown Commercial, Digital Outcomes, and Specialists 6 Framework supplier. We have vast local council marketing experience, and the value we offer.

We developed campaign materials including of leaflets, a video animation, and social media graphics. These outlined advisory guidance for Cheshire East residents. They showed simple actions everyone could take to lower the risk of infection.

Our Covid-19 marketing was based upon our successful campaign graphics for Northamptonshire Councils. It uses a simple, illustrative style that informsclearly. It is easy to understand, even if English is not the reader’s first language. Our work has supported the UK Government's advice throughout all phases.It also incorporated updated Step 4 guidance as the country learned to live with the virus.
