Great Oakley Brewery had 13 successful years brewing under their kegs before they reached out to GWCM for a rebrand that would include a brand new brewery logo design and branded beer logo design. What Great Oakley Brewery needed was to up, its game and move with the times with a fresh look that packed a punch with stand-out, on-shelf, and at the bar.
As a multi-award-winning brewery with quality and consistency at the core of its business the challenge for our creative designers was to reimagine the much-respected brewery in a way that would continue to appeal to the existing audience but attract the hipster, younger beer drinkers.
A new brand logo was developed for the brewery that was still rooted in tradition, history, and core values, but with a fresh, stylish contemporary edge. All 10 ale varieties labels were redesigned in a similar theme that was recognisable to regulars. The new designs were implemented across multiple channels, including packaging, beer pump clips, and email marketing, plus a new brewery website with simple eCommerce quickly tagged on during lockdown.

To achieve the objectives for KDR a pub and music venue operator in Northamptonshire, research and bar marketing strategies were deployed to help redefine the value proposition and communicate this to the target audience in a way that moved them. Competitive advantage and differentiating from competitors whilst emphasising how the KDR offer addresses customer needs and pain points helped attract attention and get punters back through the doors post-pandemic.
New pub websites were produced for two of the venues with focussed SEO and landing pages to attract venue hire for weddings and private parties. New menus were designed, plus social media campaigns and branded posters and advertisements for the bars exploring different customer offers. We developed promotions to grow and incentivise email subscribers and produced targeted email marketing to turn customers into ratings, reviews, and referrals.
