Social media for financial services can help to build trust and drive audience interactions. British Business Bank is a Government-owned, bank that regularly uses social media to help businesses learn more about their range of finance options. Whatever stage a business is at, starting up, scaling up, or needing to stay ahead to get a business back on track they have options. Their Finance Hub has a 6-step tool to help discover finance options that could help grow a business with grants, loans, and investments. Social media is valuable in that it enables us here at GWCM to create marketing campaigns for products and services based upon insight from data analytics like which demographic groups may be interested in the finance options being offered.
To generate noise and attract traffic to the Finance Hub, our talented design team developed a social media campaign aligned to the theme of ‘Reject Rejection’. The campaign encourages small businesses to not take ‘no’ for an answer if they have previously been turned down for finance. Instead, they should explore alternative routes to success, via the new hub - advertised within the graphics.
